October 20th – Dr. Jovana Jasnic and Dr. Mirjana Novkovic, members of the ZEBARR research team, continued their mission to inspire young minds with an interesting presentation at V Belgrade Gymnasium. This event was directed towards high school students in the first and third year of the special program for biology and chemistry.
The presentation of Dr. Jasnić included an overview of the use of zebrafish as a model organism in research, emphasizing their significance in unraveling complex biological questions. Afterwards, Dr. Novkovic discussed the core objectives and findings of the ZEBARR project. The attending students actively participated in the discussion by asking insightful questions.

In addition to the engaging lecture, the students were provided with an extraordinary opportunity to observe zebrafish larvae under the microscope.
We are thrilled to have shared our knowledge with the students at V Belgrade Gymnasium. We believe this presentation has sparked their interest in the world of zebrafish and science as a whole.
