Dr. Snežana Kojić, the Principal Investigator of the ZEBARR project attended the Strategic Conference of Zebrafish Investigators, held from January 6-9, 2024, at the picturesque Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California. The conference, which brought together approximately 200 participants from around the globe, served as a platform for leading researchers in the field of zebrafish studies to share their latest findings and innovations.
This conference was an excellent opportunity for Dr. Kojić to showcase our progress, gain collaborations, and exchange valuable insights with fellow researchers. She took this opportunity to present our research through a poster presentation, highlighting the work on the role of zebrafish ankrd1a as a common player in heart regeneration and skeletal muscle repair.
