ZEBARR team at School Science Festival in Smederevska Palanka

On April 21st, the ZEBARR project team participated in the 11th School science Science festival Festival at the School of mechanical and electrical engineering “Goša” in Smederevska Palanka. The festival was organized with the goal of showcasing the intriguing aspects of science to primary and secondary school students, and it drew an impressive crowd of 2000 visitors.

At the festival, the ZEBARR team presented their model organism of choice – the zebrafish, by setting up an exhibit that allowed students to get up close and personal with zebrafish larvae. Under the guidance of the team members, students had the opportunity to observe the larvae through under the microscope, witnessing their anatomy and behavior. The excitement was evident as students gazed at the world of zebrafish, gaining a deeper understanding of these remarkable creatures. The ZEBARR team also took the opportunity to share their research goals and findings with the students.

The ZEBARR team’s participation in the 11th School Science Festival was lauded by both students and teachers alike. Many students were inspired and expressed their eagerness to learn more about zebrafish and the fascinating world of science.
