Our team members, Mirjana Novković and Jovana Jasnić, attended the 51st European Muscle Conference held in Ljubljana, Slovenia from September 22nd to 26th. The conference, organized by the European Society for Muscle Research, brought together approximately 300 researchers.
Mirjana and Jovana used the occasion to present our findings on the role of ankrd1a gene in zebrafish skeletal muscle repair. Their poster presentation attracted considerable attention from fellow researchers.
During the event, Mirjana and Jovana had fruitful discussions with prominent scientists specializing in muscle regeneration. Through these interactions, they were able to exchange ideas, gain valuable insights, and widen their network within the scientific community.
Also, they used this opportunity to expand their horizons by hearing interesting lectures about the novel discoveries in muscle science.
