On Thursday, October 13th our team visited the XII Belgrade Gymnasium. To the second, third and fourth grade pupils we presented ZEBARR project, introduced our goals and plans, as well as our research model system – zebrafish. Pupils had the chance to observe embryos and larvae under the microscope. Furthermore, they were interested in discovery of new treatments for injured heart and testing of new drugs. Beside this, they were curious about researchers’ and scientists’ lifestyle since soon they need to make decision of what faculty to enroll.
We hope that we helped them to resolve some doubts. Our next visit to high school has been planned for the next spring.
