We put together a zebrafish imaging and manipulation station. Stemi 508 stereo microscope (Zeiss), equipped with Axiocam 305 color camera (Zeiss) and a powerful PC, makes work with zebrafish much easier and takes great pictures. Micromanipulator (right) (World Precision Instruments) allows us to perform highly precise operations, such as microinjections.
Our new zebrafish facility is constructed and ready to be put into operation. The circulating system has 90 3.5L housing tanks, water treatment compartment and connections to clean water source and drainage for maintaining optimal conditions for animals. Incubator for raising embryos and larvae is also inside the facility.
